jack the spiderweb

said the spider to the bee
"can it be?"
for the bee, you see
had flown gently
into the web
of the spider of which
he does dread
but decided in the end
to take the gossamer weave
and make it into a friend
to help him his fears relieve

he called it jack and let it talk
and as he spoke so hence
the spider couldn't even walk
he was still with such incredulence
but one day the spider prepared a plan
to reclaim the complement to his neb
he would creep up on his nemesis-man
and jack the spider web!

it was admiral grey, but i think that's too reminiscent of the name of my favorite black tea. and i really admire the name pemberly because i kept thinking that it was pershing on the world war 1 test. so now i'm fond of it.
